What we do
At 12th Leamington (Holy Trinity) Scout Group, we like to keep ourselves busy and try new and exciting things. In only one Year since we opened up a new Cub pack, we have 24 Cubs aged 8-10 1/2 taking part in exciting team building activities and earning loads of badges to wear with pride. The fun doesn't stop there, the Cubs went camping in September where they did Archery, Crate Staking, Orienteering and loads more. In May this Year, the Cubs will be going to Get In Camp for the weekend too. The Scouts have been busy too. A group of Scouts earned their expedition challenge badge, whilst the other Scouts joined the Cubs for the Weekend camp. They have also been busy on a troop night working towards various badges and learning new Skills. In May this Year, the Scouts will be going on a week long activity camp.
In May 2017, the Scouts visited the New Forest spending a week camping, exploring the local area and taking part in onsite activities such as; zip wire, climbing, abseiling, 3 stack and loads more. The Scouts also enjoyed a day out at Splashdown water park. The Summer term has been busy for both sections with a visit to IBM and a fun boating session on the River Leam.
In May 2016, the Scouts spent a week camping in Oxfordshire taking part in adventurous activities such as; 3G swing, crate staking, archery, rifle shooting, zip wire and many more. In 2015, the Scouts and Explorers Scouts went on an international camp to Holland, spending a week taking part in exciting activities, exploring new parts of the world and joining in with fellow English Scouts and Guides to learn about other countries cultures.
